Off the Clock
About

Built by someone who plans the work trips.

Off the Clock started with a familiar job: you're heading to a conference with colleagues or clients, and you need a dinner with a private room, something to do as a group, and an agenda everyone can follow. That usually means a dozen tabs and a spreadsheet. This puts it in one place.

What it is

An independent guide to the evening side of business travel, with a free trip planner. Every city has client dinners with private or semi-private rooms, group activities, home games and the conferences coming to town. You can turn any of it into a day-by-day agenda, share it with the group, and print it or add it to your calendar.

How it stays current

We check our 67 picks against each venue's own website on a rolling basis, refresh game schedules daily, add conferences every week and new cities twice a week. Every pick shows the date it was last checked. How we pick explains what earns a place on the list.

Independence

Venues can't pay to be picked or to change what we say about them. Some links may earn us a commission if you book, which never affects what we recommend. If we ever offer featured placements, they'll be clearly labelled and kept apart from our picks.

Get in touch

Booking request

Fill in what you know. We'll write the email to the venue's events team for you to copy and send. Nothing here is sent to us.

It sends from your own email, so replies come straight to you and you keep a copy in your Sent folder. If nothing opens, use Copy email instead. Find the events contact ↗
